Awesome atmosphere in the evening to enjoy a drink and listen to a jazz band play. Got a great sazerac from the bar and enjoyed the show. Staff is friendly, courteous, and fast. Comfy seating on the sides and not too loud or crowded. Perfect to chill and enjoy. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

I came here 3/5 on a whim & so happy I followed my instincts. I’m so lucky to always be at the right place at the right time. We had the best bartender Dylan and he was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! He knew a lot about the drinks was very friendly and attentive. Throughout my entire trip I didn’t really sit at any bars and if I did, it would not compare to this one. This place is an absolute hidden gem and every drink I had here was top-tier. I will 100% be coming back.

This place is a cozy nook in NOLA. Great live music! They offer a proper 6 Minute Ramos Gin Fizz. Instead of a bartender/s having to shake it for the full 6 minutes, they have a machine (photo of it on the bar provided). According to their menu, they do not make a proper grasshopper but did not try it to see if it at least tasted good.

Great bar inside the hotel! Drinks are strong and perfect. Wait staff has always been super friendly. This is where we will be spending Christmas day. It will be one of the few places open. Recommend the Bloody Mary and the Hurricane.

Had a great time! The bartenders( only two) were great and were handling the masses very well. I wish I asked our bar tenders name to give him a shout out (you had an orange vest on tonight! ) as he was great! Super friendly, the drinks were top notch! The live music was so much fun as well. I’m not into massive crowds of twerking so this place was great for me! Ha! Loved the “old” timey vibes!

Stayed at the hotel and went in for drinks and a quick bite. The wings and fries were awesome. The beer on tap was good. The bartender was great! She made good recommendations for beers and local favorite spots for music and food. The music at night was good local jazz. The drinks never stopped flowing. Definitely stop in for good service and cold drinks.

When we are in NOLA, this is thenplace we spend most of our time. The music is funk, blues or old school R&B, which we love. They also have more sophisticated drinks than you would find on Bourbon Street. Their Bourbon selection is excellent and have excellent mixology. They are attached to a hotel and have the cleanest, most spacious bathrooms in the Quarter. This a Grown Folks bar. We grown folks are a lot of fun.and young people have a great time too.

Bourbon O Bar was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The service was excellent—attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. The staff, Anessa & Dylan, went above and beyond by helping us find a great restaurant nearby, which we really appreciated. The live jazz music created a sophisticated, relaxed atmosphere that made the evening even more enjoyable. I would absolutely return for the ambiance alone, but the outstanding service truly sets this place apart.

Felt like an upscale jazz experience. It is a bar that is in the lobby of a hotel so they do close earlier than other places. Came here specifically for the Gin Fizz because they have the machine to mix it and I didn't want to have to bother a bartender to hand mix anything for 12 minutes! It was delicious. Bartenders were so nice. We even met some locals who were super friendly. We tried absinthe, which wasn't the worse thing ever, and the band was incredible.

Excellent bourbon selection, top notch cocktails—they have a famous Gin Fizz and it was pretty damn good. The bartenders were wonderful! They were friendly and personable, and gave us some great suggestions when we left. Great for a more relaxed, moody atmosphere. It doesn’t quite invite the chaos other places on Bourbon Street stir up.
